Several parts of Selangor will experience water supply distruptions on Aug 17 and Aug 20.
Bernama, quoting Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas), reports that there will be a temporary halt to operations at water treatment plants in Sungai Selisek, Hulu Selangor and Sungai Rumput, Gombak.
This is to facilitate works to replace wooden baffles in the flocculation tank of LRA Sungai Selisek, Hulu Selangor, Syabas had said in a statement.
Areas affected on Aug 17 (8am to 11pm) are: Kampung Sungai Nilam/Sungai Pagi, Kampung Lalang, Rumah Murah Peringkat 2, Kampung Serigala, Kampung Orang Asli Serigala, Kampung Bahom, Kampung Sekolah and Kampung Gesir Tengah/PLKN.
On Aug 20 (8am to 3pm) the following areas will be affected: Batu 12 Jalan Gombak, JPJ Lebuhraya Karak, Kuarters Perhutanan Batu 11 Gombak and Sekolah Memandu Batu 11 Gombak.
