A 30-year-old man who stashed cash and nearly 100 grams of drugs in an old washing machine has been arrested after the police raided his home in Kelantan.

The man was nabbed, along with four other suspects, during the raid at Bukit Tuku, Pasir Mas yesterday. Police seized about 13 grams of heroin and 86 grams of syabu that were valued at nearly RM10,000 in total, as well as RM1,460 in cash.

Others arrested in the drug bust were women aged 16, 21, and 50, and a 27-year-old man who was in front of the house when police from the General Operations Force light infantry arm arrived.

All suspects were taken to the Pasir Mas District Police Headquarters for further investigation, according to police.
