If you were in Publika a while ago, you might remember the time when Mach by Hong Leong Bank filled an above-ground pool in the central courtyard with globs of pale green goo … and then told people to walk on it. The goo has a not-much-more-scientific name – ‘oobleck’ – and is in fact a non-Newtonian fluid composed of corn starch and water. But never mind all that. What we’re trying to say is, people did all sorts of things on the stuff, from doing the Gangnam to cycling over it to suddenly thinking it was okay to wear a furry suit in public on it. Here’s the video of the event, shot and edited by KIX (of KL: It’s Alive notoriety) – and yes, that is indeed Darren Ashley on the decks while chest-deep in liquefied corn starch. Enjoy.
