The vicious fight that saw one girl punched and kicked by a group of ten other schoolgirls has taken a turn for the expected: turns out the motive behind the vicious attack was a picture with a boy that victim is said to have taken, says The Star.
The attack took place on a town field in Sabah’s east-coast Kunak district. Turns out, those Kunak ladies do NOT mess around.
Local police report that one of the girls, who led the attack, was unhappy that the victim posted a photo with a boy over Hari Raya online, and uh… I guess she thought that beating the victim up, kicks, fists and all would make her and her squad less tragic. Sigh.
The girls were all aged between 15 and 17, and went the three different secondary schools in the area. The video went viral immediately after it was posted over the weekend, with netizens shocked at the attack that saw headscarves flying all over the field as the girls tussled.
The girls have all been picked up by police, and the case is being handled as a bullying incident by police and school officials.
Remember kids, beating someone up over a photo isn’t gonna make anyone want to take a picture with you. In fact, they will probably run away from your unhinged-self.
