A Kuantan woman was left disgusted and horrified after the fried chicken she purchased from a popular food hawker stall came with a little bit of extra protein as filling.
Ms Chen, as she is referred to by China Press, reported that she went to the takeaway around 7pm and ordered briyani rice, fried chicken and lamb curry for herself, as well as her parents. The 31-year-old paid RM38 for the food.
It was only when she arrived home, and began eating that she noticed that inside her chicken were “dancing” worms.
Dancing, moving, and/or writhing are things I never want associated with any food I put in my mouth. Ever.
Worms are often found on meat that is old, putrid and unclean. Can’t wait for lunch, everybody.
The hawker apologized; however, Ms Chen has decided to file a complaint with local health authorities.
