Malaysia’s latest social media craze was inspired by a 15-second long video that has received over 3 million views over the last three days.

Confused? So are we! However, looking for logic in a meme is like searching for sincerity on Tinder: It’s probably not there, and if you do find it, you’ll end up wishing you hadn’t.
No sooner had the video gone live than the comments began to flow. It was only a matter of time before others started posting their own versions of the clip.
While many just copied the couple’s dialogue, others crafted their own follow-up scenes wondering if the young woman ever got her food, and this video that shows a rather unsettling ending. Coconuts KL does not approve.
The unwitting star of the video is 20-year-old Nur Anizah Tahang, known as Nija to her friends and family. She told mStar that her nearest and dearest are not really surprised by her whining – she’s very open about being a bit on the spoiled side.
She added that she’s watched all of the parody videos, that they’re quite fun, and that she’s not offended in the slightest.
