[VIDEO] Dr M with the Twitter clapback, rattling all the shade on PM Najib’s timeline

Hot off the heels of being announced as leader of the opposition, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad found himself (again) under direct fire from Prime Minister Najib Razak.

Dr M, whose mind and clapbacks are as on-point as Anderson Cooper on a sassy day, had a Twitter response when someone asked what he thought about PM Najib’s claims he did nothing to better Malaysia’s roads and infrastructure.

The campaign to discredit the legacy of Dr M has been in effect for quite some time, but has been amped up as the elections loom.

First came the investigation by Bank Negara into the heavy losses incurred by his administration in Forex trading. Perhaps true, but will serve little purpose other than to embarrass the nonagenarian, and taint the Camelot-like memories of his stewardship of Malaysia for over 20 years.

Then came this week’s latest (politics, baby) claims that his administration was rife with cronyism and corruption (yes, and then what?).

Yes, he said. It was true that he did nothing. It was the workers who did everything, and he didn’t lift a finger. So yes, the Prime Minister was absolutely correct in saying that Dr M did not build anything, and should thank the workers instead.

Chiiiiiiild. Don’t mess with the best, cuz the best don’t rest. Don’t mess with the cool, cuz the cool don’t fool. Even at 92.
