The animal lovers among us know that we will take our love for dogs/cats/parakeets to the grave.
In the case of recently deceased gentleman Ismail Mat, a cat-lover from Langkawi, one particular cat is willing to go to the grave along with him.
Nearly 10 million people have watched the video of the cat refusing to leave the man’s side at the burial grounds of the Al-Hidayah Mosque in Kelibang, Langkawi. The man’s grandson, Souffuan CZ, uploaded the video just three days ago. He writes that the cat circled the grave, and repeated attempts to shoo the cat away were ignored by the white feline.
Souffuan says that his grandfather had always been a cat-lover, although this particular cat was not a pet, but rather one from the area around the mosque.
He adds that even after the family left the grave, the villagers nearby informed them that the cat came back to the grave.
