A 20-year-old student fell to his death from the seventh floor of a building at the Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus in Subang Jaya this afternoon.
The Star Online reports that the student, identified as Malaysian, was found dead by authorities at 12.45pm.
District police chief Asst Comm Yahaya Ramli confirmed the incident with the portal, saying the body was found below one of the blocks on campus.
“Initial investigations have revealed that there was no foul play involved,” he told The Star
Taylor’s University published a statement on its Facebook page confirming the incident.
“Taylor’s University is deeply saddened by an incident involving one of our students that took place at noon today at Lakeside Campus. We would like to offer our heartfelt condolences and support to his family and friends during this difficult time.”
“The incident is now being investigated by the authorities and the university is extending its full cooperation.”
