Two massive snakes caught near Ipoh-area village

Two massive King cobras have been captured by the Civil Defense Force (APM) in Kampar, south of Ipoh. One measured five meters, and the other six meters. Good news, not one, but two of your exes are off the streets.

Kampar APM officer Captain Jasri Mohd Yusof said the six meter-long snake weighed nine kg, and was caught at yesterday morning following an alert sent by residents of the Batu Berangkai Orang Asli Settlement.

“The residents reported having seen the snake crossing a road in the village and heading to a rocky area,” he said. For the last three days, the villagers had been on high alert.

Why did the snake cross the road? To chill near rocks and torment villagers, it seems.

When the APM arrived on the scene the snake had turned aggressive and took over twenty minutes to capture. It is the longest recorded King Cobra in the area.

The other snake was found in a storeroom in nearby Kampung Batu last Friday afternoon. While cleaning, a worker heard a hissing sound coming from inside a box, and promptly alerted authorities.

Sounds like your ex wants you back.
