Two Malaysians busted in brunch-time drugs deal gone wrong in Singapore

Two Malaysians have been busted, along with a local third man, in Singapore with over RM160,000 (US$37,700) worth of heroin and cannabis.

Guys, we’re just trying to show you a good time. Loosen you up. Chill you OUT. Sorry.

How a drug deal happens, Singapore-style:

The incident occurred at the Woodlands Town Garden carpark at 11am yesterday, which is rather bright-and-early-Shirley for a drug deal, if you ask me. Have some respect, and keep these things nocturnal.

A Singaporean man, 29, arrived in his car first, and waited for the Malaysian connect to ride up on a motorcycle. Once next to each other, the car door opened and a brown paper bag was passed from the Malaysian motorcyclist, to the car driver. The driver then left the car park, and the bike rode a short distance before picking up another passenger, also Malaysian.

It was then that the police closed in, and arrested the Malaysian duo, aged 26 and 21.

The car driver was arrested some time later at the junction of Jalan Toa Payoh and Upper Serangood Road.

Police found 2kg of weed, 466g of heroin and over S$4,000 (US$3,000).

If found guilty, all parties face the death penalty.
