A gunman shot dead two café patrons in Sibu today, while other customers looked on in horror at 12:15pm today.
New Straits Times reports that two were shot at close range while they ate their lunch at a shop on Lorong Pahlawan. The have been identified as Lau Ngik Yin, 47, and Loh Lik Siong, 21.
Sibu police report that the two gentlemen were not dining alone — they were joined for lunch by a woman, and other male friends.
The shop owner told police that the suspected gunman entered the premises wearing a helmet and red-colored jacket. He calmly walked over to the victims’ table and fired four shots, killing them instantly, and immediately fleeing the scene.
Sounds pretty professional to us.
Police are now on the hunt for the red-jacketed suspect.
