A trailer completely destroyed a toll booth at the Subang Plaza after the driver lost control of the heavy vehicle and crashed into it on Tuesday.
Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Zani Che Din told The Star Online that the incident happened at 1.30pm.
“Initial investigations revealed the driver of the trailer lost control of his vehicle and ploughed through the toll booth in between lane five and six of the toll plaza,” ACP Mohd Zani said when contacted by the news portal.
The impact of the crash destroyed a toll booth as the trailer’s load of steel bars spilled onto the road. The crash also reportedly damaged an ambulance and a car.
Thankfully, no one was seriously injured in the accident.
The lorry driver, meanwhile, suffered only minor injuries to his leg and was sent to the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre for treatment.
