Traffic light system at former Templer roundabout to be improved, says PJ mayor

A new traffic light system at the former Jalan Templer roundabout — which have been working since May 17 — is still on a trial run, says Petaling Jaya mayor Mohd Azizi Mohd Zain.

In a Star Metro report, Mohd Azizi responded to complaints from residents in the area that the timing of the new traffic lights was not well calibrated by assuring them that consultants and engineers would make the necessary improvements based on traffic flow direction and time.

He also said that with such a system in place, he hoped traffic congestion in the area would be eased by half.

“We are looking at two weeks for all upgrade works to be completed at the junction,” the portal quoted him as saying.
