Internet rule #1: Only ask the Internet for help if you don’t want to be taken seriously.
On Monday, AirAsia boss Tony Fernandes excitedly revealed on his Facebook page that he would be meeting Pope Francis at Vatican City on Saturday.
Although he did not explain the purpose of the scheduled meeting, the 52-year-old businessman said in the posting that it would be a personal highlight for him.
“Met many people in my life, but this will be a highlight. His open mind is something many leaders could learn from,” he wrote in the post, adding that he would like to swap caps with the Pope.
But the highlight for US came when Tony asked his Facebook fans for ideas on what he should ask His Holiness during their meeting.
The Netizens, as always, delivered:
Never change, Netizens, never change.
