Motorists using the Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (LDP) and Sprint highway may enjoy a discount on toll rates on the first day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
From 12.01am to 11.59pm on July 6, LDP highway users will be given a 60 sen discount while Sprint users will enjoy a 20 sen discount for all classes, The Star Online reported.
An estimated 492,000 road users are expected to use the highways during this time, the news site said.
“It is a very important campaign and on top of this, there will be police officers running operations to ensure the safety of road users on the highway during Hari Raya,” Litrak group chief executive officer Sazally Saidi was quoted as saying.
