A baby was killed in an accident along the East Coast Expressway (LPT2) around midnight as his family headed to Kuala Lumpur from Pasir Mas, Kelantan.
In the 12.05am incident, 11-month-old Adam Harith Mohd Sudin died while his father, uncle and two-year-old brother escaped without injuries, the New Straits Times reported.
His mother, 32, sustained leg injuries. The family had reportedly been heading back to their home after visiting relatives in the east coast state.
According to the report, the Honda Odyssey they had been travelling in had skidded onto the left side of the lane just before plunging into a drain.
