It was a day of joy for the Crown Prince of Johor, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim and his wife Che Puan Khaleeda Bustamam when they welcomed their first child into the royal family.
The royal announced the birth in a posting on the Johor Southern Tigers Facebook page.
According to The Star Online, the princess was delivered at the Sultanah Aminah Hospital’s royal ward in Johor Baru on Saturday morning.
“Her Highness Che Puan Khaleeda Bustamam and her princess are now in good heath,” Johor Royal Court Council president Datuk Abdul Rahim Ramli said in a statement as cited by the news portal.
The baby girl is Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar’s first grandchild.
