Horsey see, horsey do!
Just days after Chickaboo The Runaway Ostrich charmed its way into everyone’s heart, Netizens are now going crazy over a viral video showing an escaped horse sprinting down a highway in Kelantan.
In two short videos uploaded by Facebook user Adli Alimin, a brown horse was seen galloping on a highway in Kota Baru on Sunday, paying no mind to the motorists surrounding it.
The videos have seen gone viral on social media, amassing a total of almost 800,000 views and shared more than 9,900 times.
Adli told The Star Online that he saw the runaway horse racing down the highway while he was on his way to work at 10am.
“The horse was running on the street for some 45 minutes. Based on the information I received, it ran from Pasir Pekan in Wakaf Baru to Kubang Kerian,” he was quoted as saying.
“The traffic stopped at the flyover from Pasir Pekan to Kota Baru. The horse was right in front of us so we have to be cautious not to hit it because we don’t know how it will react.
“It kept switching from the left to the right so we were worried for its safety,” Adli was quoted further.
At the moment, nobody knows where the horse came from or what spurred it to run away, but you can be sure that it’ll get its fifteen minutes of fame just like little Chickaboo did.
