If there is one thing that Coconuts KL loves, it’s going to weddings: Dress nicer than usual, and you get to be part of someone’s happy day, dance, eat, and if you’re lucky, drink yourself silly on peach schnaps at the open bar. Win-win for everyone.
One betrothed couple decided to immortalize their special day, as many do, with a wedding video that captures all the action before, during and after the ceremony. Very popular these days, we are told.
Hadi and Farah are the newly-wedded subjects of internet infamy, having entrusted their special day to Rezal Videographer, and if you’ve got 12 minutes to spare (yes, watching this clip front to back is the equivalent of sitting down to read Gone with the Wind), we beseech you to watch it:

Right! How was that? Have you sufficiently collected yourselves and thoughts enough to delve into a bit of what you just bore witness to?
Great, let’s get to it.
After watching the piece, we were left with more questions than answers, and we’d like to throw some of these out there, in hopes of expanding our minds, and widening our hearts. Here we go:
How does the mosque feel about its new look?

How did Mickey and Minnie Mouse get invited to the wedding?

Why is Hadi camouflaged in a bush outside?

Why have you blurred this guest’s face? Did he call in sick to work that day?

What’s the Wi-Fi coverage like over there?

With all due artistic direction respect: Was the sky not available for some cloud letters?
Did Enter Sandman get played at any point during the ceremony or dinner?

Real Talk: We can’t tell what’s real, and what After Effects in this image. Success?

Have you seen Hadi and Farah? Wait — Found them!
Tell us that the rubbish bin was bolted to the ground, yeah?

Hey, did you *ahem* forget someone?

While we’re compelled to feel welcome, we’re also being told to stop here. Which is it?

What the —
Dude, was that just a meteorite fragment coming to decimate the wedding party? Is it safe to go inside?

Considering we just survived an asteroid attack, this sudden appearance of blue slime is foreboding. Is everything OK?

Awe, these are hella cute, but has anyone realized that when you turn them right-side up, the names will be upside down?

“Congrats to the new bride” takes on special meaning when it’s written on the cone of a melted, half-finished ice cream.

Isn’t it problematic when the best-lit person in this frame is the camera-guy in the background? Also, what happened to Farah’s lower third?

Seriously though, is the bride not a little bit mad about being consistently blurred out of frame?

Ok, this is starting to feel…

…like the wedding video…

…in Love Actually.
Oh, right. Ok! Well!

Maybe the sequel will feature more of the bride?
UPDATE: The bride is NOT happy.
