They say that one of the keys to a happy relationship is finding something that you and your partner like doing together. While some enjoy kite-surfing, others prefer meth. Tomato, tom-ah-toe.
The Star reports that a Kota Kinabalu couple, the man 30-years old and the woman 28 years-old, were busted buying syabu from their alleged pusher yesterday.
The bad news? The 251 grams of meth that the 23-year-old dealer was found with make him a candidate for a mandatory death penalty upon conviction.
Police spotted the couple in the car, exchanging pleasantries no doubt, with the man on the motorbike near Jalan Sembulan late Monday. When police moved in on the trio, they attempted to flee but were surrounded by police.
The dealer was found with 5 packets of syabu, and while the couple had not yet purchased the drugs and were not in possession of narcotics, both tested positive for meth.
And to jail all three went, where they await their arraignment.
Police seized the drugs, the car and the motorbike, all three totaling a value of RM25,000 (US$5,800).
Let’s see: at least half that was drugs, 1K for the kapcai and the rest we wager is probably the value of an ill-kept, first generation Myvi. Just a feeling.
