A disturbing video of a 3-year old Malaysian boy from Kedah smoking meth at the behest of his mother’s boyfriend has gone viral on social media. The boy’s paternal grandmother lodged a police report last night after another grandchild sent her the video.
The clip, which is 16 seconds long, shows a dazed boy holding a meth pipe in the backseat of a car with banknotes strewn around him. A man off-camera asks him in Tamil, “Are you already high?” and “Is it nice? If it’s nice, you must ask for this next time, OK? Good. Stay that way”
A separate clip shows the boy sitting naked, cross-legged with a plate of rice. The same voice off-camera tells the boy that he is only getting white rice to eat. Police believe the boy may also have been high during that clip.
As of now the boy’s mother and boyfriend are still at large. Police are hunting down the suspects, and launching an operation to rescue the boy.
