Three men found killed in Cheras cemetery

The remains of three men, believed to be Myanmar nationals, were found with slash wounds on their heads and bodies at the Jalan Kuari Christian cemetery in Cheras this afternoon.

Kuala Lumpur Crime Investigation Department (CID) chief SAC Zainuddin Ahmad told Harian Metro‘s MUhaamad Hafis Nawawi that initial investigations point to the three victims possibly loitering and drinking alcohol on the cemetery grounds last night.

The wounds evident on their bodies indicate that an altercation broke out some time between then and the time of the discovery of their remains, causing massive injuries to the head and bodies.

“The three bodies were found separately in the area, and we are trying to determine their identities, as their bodies did not have any identification documents,” he said.

The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code, but no arrests have yet been made.
