People have reportedly been concerned over what they have seen as thick cracks lines on the MRT guideway over the Damansara Puchong Highway (LDP) and MRT Corp has taken to Facebook to explain what it really is.
According to them, the thick line — seen in several photos taken of the guideway — were in face the joining for two pieces of netting that covered the guideway over the LDP highway.
MRT Corp Director for Strategic Communications and Public Relations Encik Mahmood Abdul Razak said the netting was placed there as a precautionary measure as work was still being carried out on the guideway.
“The thick jagged line is actually the joining of two pieces of netting which were sewn together. It is not a crack on the concrete of the guideway which is being alleged in discussions in social media,” he said.
Mahmood advised the public not to be unduly worried while driving beneath the guideway.
