You can now Netflix and chill at KLIA and klia2! (Well, not that kind of Netflix and chill, you dirty-minded monkeys!)
According to a report by The New Straits Times, the Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) has launched two different Airport WiFi services – free access and premium access – at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and klia2.
This, according to Managing Director Datuk Badlisham Ghazali, is an effort to improve customer service and satisfaction at the airports. He also added that the service is part of more than 40 initiatives identified under MAHB’s Total Airport Experience (TAE), its strategic pillar for their recently-launched five-year business plan.
“With Airport WiFi, airport users can quickly catch up on their emails or share their experiences with their loved ones on social media using the free one-hour access,” he was quoted of saying.
If you’re too ‘atas’ for free WiFi, you can opt for the premium WiFi service. For just RM8, you get an unlimited quota for 24 hours and a speed of 2Mbps per device.
That’s more than enough to torrent an episode of ‘Game Of Thrones’.
