Terminally ill man leaps from fourth floor of HKL

In a tragic turn of events at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL), a terminally ill man took his own life by jumping off the fourth floor.

The 50-year-old man had leapt from the specialist and daily treatment wing on Monday afternoon.

A report in The Star Online says the man had been diagnosed with stomach cancer. A police source quoted in the report said the man had been getting treatment there for a week.

A nurse discovered the man’s body on the grounds of the hospital complex at 1.30pm.
