Services along the Ampang and Sri Petaling LRT lines will reportedly be suspended temporarily on July 7, 8 and 16 to make way for the upgrading and migration of its signalling system.
Bernama quotes Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Ahmad Nizam Mohamed Amin as saying that the service interruptions should cause minimum inconvenience to commuters as they fall on the second and third days of Hari Raya Aidilfitri (July 7, 8) and on a Saturday (July 16).
He said in a statement as reported by the news agency that free shuttle bus services would be made available between 6am and midnight at stations along both lines to ferry passengers to the Pasar Seni bus hub.
