A 17-year-old boy reportedly fell to his death from the 30th floor of a condominium in Batu Tiga, Jalan Ipoh late yesterday.
The teenager had fallen on a zinc roof on the third floor of the building in the 11.15pm incident, the Star Online‘s Natasha Joibi reports.
A security guard reportedly informed police.
“A police officer went to the scene and met the boy’s mother. She said her son had been a drug addict and was undergoing rehabilitation,” Sentul police chief ACP R. Munusamy was quoted as saying.
According to police, the boy had climbed onto a table at the balcony of his unit and then fell.
He was reportedly a student at an international school in Kuala Lumpur.
