Teen falls to her death from 21-storey flat in Penang

A teenager fell to her death from the 21st floor of a People’s Housing Project (PPR) in George Town, Penang.

The Star reports 13-year-old M. Visalni was still alive after the fall but died on the way to the hospital.

Her father, B. Maniam, 41, told the daily that his wife had asked Visalni to buy several items from a nearby mini market.

“I wasn’t at home when it happened. My wife asked her to go out and buy something for the house,” he was quoted as saying.

According to the report, Visalni, a student at SJK(C) Datuk Keramat, had no history of depression.
