An 18-year-old boy from Sungai Petani has claimed trial today in court, charged with four counts of incest and the sexual abuse of three of his sisters. He will enter his plea next month.
The Star reports that the teen stands accused of two counts of rape against two of his sisters, who are aged 8 and 14. The incidents occured on July 19 at a house in Sungai Layar, and on April 21 at a house in Taman Ria.
He also has two separate charges filed against him for inserting his fingers into another sister’s vagina, aged 10, as well as committing the offense on the 14-year-old sister who is also one of his rape victims. The sisters say this occured July 14 and July 18.
In Malaysia, rape and genital molestation with one’s hands are two separate charges.
If found guilty, he faces anywhere between 10 to 30 years in jail, as well as whipping for the incest charge, and an additional 5 to 30 years, plus whipping, for the genital molestation charge.
Owning to the nature of the crimes alleged, he will be held in police custody until his next court date, September 5, where he will plead to the charges.
