Technician charged in love triangle murder case

A technician was charged with murder at the Johor Baru Magistrate’s Court on Monday, according to a report by The New Straits Times.

Wong Jian Boon, 28, was accused of murdering Tan Chuen Take, 31, at a house in Taman Indahpura on June 22 between 8.30pm and 11pm.

The victim’s body was reportedly found buried in a forest along KM29.5 of the Second Link Highway in Gelang Patah, a few days after he was reported missing by his family members.

Wong is charged under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder, and he nodded his head when the charges were read out to him in Mandarin. No plea was recorded.

Magistrate Noor Aisyah Ahmad fixed Aug 29 for mention of the case, pending the forensic and lab reports.

In an earlier report, it was reported that Wong abducted and murdered Tan after he had reportedly tried to court Wong’s girlfriend.
