Suspect who shattered windscreen using helmet in road rage incident under arrest

Good news for anyone out there living their life, trying not to get their car smashed: The road raging motorcyclist who took it upon himself to shatter a woman’s windscreen has been arrested by police.

Video footage of the shocking turn of events went viral shortly after a clip of the incident was uploaded to social media Tuesday.

The unprovoked attack occurred in the Taman Bukit Serdang area, an area in greater Kuala Lumpur, and saw the suspect approach the car menacingly after the woman driver honked at him for erratic driving.

As per the 22-year-old victim’s dashcam clip, the suspect, along with another bike, were driving along, taking up much of the road and making it impossible for the woman to overtake them. When she finally did, and gave them a honk, expressing her discord, one of the men stopped his bike in front of her, grabbing his helmet, and repeatedly bashing it on her windscreen, cracking it.

Serdang police say that the suspect they have in custody is a male in his 30s, and that he was apprehended at his workplace in Balakong, where he is a factory storage assistant.

After the 3pm arrest, officers issued a remand order, keeping him in police custody while they continue their investigations.
