You can now add another special number plate into Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar’s impressive collection.
According to The Star Online, Sultan Ibrahim on Friday won the bid for one of the most sought-after registration number plates ever, ‘F1’, with a bid of RM836,660.
The amount was the highest Sultan Ibrahim has ever paid for a number plate, having won ‘W1N’ for RM748,000 in 2014 and ‘WWW1’ for RM520,000 in 2012.
The ‘W1N’ number plate was reportedly used on his Proton Surpima S while the ‘WWW1’ plate was affixed on a Proton Satria Neo.
Maybe he would use the ‘F1’ number plate on his awesome customised Mack truck?
According to the news portal, the Road Transport Department (JPJ) has received a total of 11,683 registration forms bidding for the new Putrajaya ‘F’ prefix – the second highest after the ‘WWW’ number plates issued in 2012.
