Prank of the year? We surely think so.
Facebook page Salam Perantuan 2016 on Friday uploaded a photo of a newspaper clipping – said to be from Malay daily Berita Harian – to the social media site showing a group of students sitting on a green lawn with a special Hari Raya greeting.
“Ramadan greetings and wishes from all of us medical students at Xavier’s School For Gifted Youngsters, USA. We would like to wish our family, relatives and all our friends since our school days a happy fasting month. We hope to meet you during this festive season,” read the caption.
So, did you guys manage to spot the troll?
In case you’re still scratching your head, the Xavier’s School For Gifted Youngsters was founded by none other than Professor Charles Xavier – the leader of the X-Men!
Yes, the same X-Men – Wolverine, Storm, Cyclops and Mystique, to name a few – you see in the movies and read in the comics.

Also known as the X Mansion, the School is a place where Professor X trains and teaches young mutants how to control their powers.
However, it was not known when the greeting was published in the newspaper, but the same picture appeared on their special Salam Aidilfitri website where overseas readers get to submit their photos and Hari Raya greetings online.

We reached out to Berita Harian for a comment, but have yet to hear back from them.
But one thing’s for sure, though; we have to hand it to the students for pulling a fast one on the daily. Well done, you gifted young men.
