A university student was reportedly electrocuted to death while showering in her family home in Seremban on Monday.
According to a Bernama report, Lee Xing Ni, 19, a mass communications student in a Korean university, was home for the semester break.
The incident reportedly happened at 11pm.
“There was scalding on her left chest, believed as a result of the electrocution, The body was sent to Tuanku Jaafar Hospital, Seremban, and the outcome of the post-mortem found the cause of death was due to electrocution,” Seremban police chief ACP Muhamad Zaki Harun was quoted as saying.
Police reportedly ruled out foul play.
Lee was scheduled to return to Korea to continue her studies on July 31.
