Look, up in the sky! It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s…a strange formation of clouds!
Residents of a small town in Teluk Intan were stunned when they saw a bizarre formation of clouds looking like ominous waves covering the sky early Thursday morning.
According to a report by The Star Online, residents spotted the cloud formations at around 7.45am, and they wasted no time snapping pictures of the ‘rolling waves’ and uploading it onto social media.
The phenomenon reportedly lasted for about 30 minutes before a ten-minute downfall reportedly shaped the clouds back to its normal appearance.
The Perak Meteorological Department told the news portal that the department are curently investigating the phenomenon and had advised the locals to stay calm as the cloud formation was due to strong winds.
The Department had earlier issued thunderstorm warning for several states in the country, including Perak.
Known as ‘arcus clouds’, a similar phenomenon also stunned residents of Beaufourt in Sabah back in June.
