Stop drinking the Marigold HL milk you bought recently, you guys!

If you’ve just bought a carton of Marigold HL Milk from the supermarket recently, DO NOT DRINK IT!

Malaysia Milk Sdn Bhd has issued a recall on all of its Marigold HL milk (200ml & 1litre) from the local market with immediate effect.

The company said in a statement published on its offcial Facebook page on Friday that the recall was made in response to customer feedback on the higher-than-usual viscosity of its Marigold HL chocolate milk.

“While customer feedback is specifically on the Marigold HL chocolate milk, nevertheless Malaysia Milk is taking proactive measures to recall other products including Marigold HL plain milk (200ml & 1L), Marigold HL strawberry milk (200ml & 1l), and Marigold HL with plant sterols (1L),” the company said in the statement.

However, not all Marigold HL milk products are being recalled.

Malaysia Milk said in the statement that only Marigold HL milk products expiring before November 7 for Peninsular Malaysia and before November 11 (Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan) are being recalled.

The company also added that its Quality Control Unit and Manufacturing team had identified the issue and had rectified the problem.

“Malaysia Milk wishes to apologise for any inconvenience caused by this product recall. Our customers’ health and safety is our top priority and we are doing everything we can to provide as much information and support as possible.

“We are committed to ensure products reach retail outlets as fresh as the day they leave Malaysia Milk plant. This is in keeping with our commitment to quality,” it said the statement.

So, if you have recently purchased the affected products, you can return them to Malaysia Milk for a replacement.
