If you thought that stealing a police vehicle for a joyride was something limited to movies like The Hangover, think again. Subang Jaya can teach you a thing or two.

An apprehended suspect ran off with a police patrol car in USJ Taipan, after telling cops he had gastric pain. They then pulled over to buy him medicine and food. Incredible service, Trip Advisor this if possible.

The Proton was later recovered nearby. However, the suspect evaded authorities for ten days, and was found nearly 500km away in Kota Bharu, Kelantan this morning for unrelated violations.

Subang police chief ACP Mohammad Azlin Sadari told reporters that, “he was detained over five cases of loan fraud in Kelantan.” Well, good to know someone was keeping tabs.

So, there you have it: taking a police vehicle is similar to the same racket you used to stay home “sick” from school. Feign illness, and when no one is looking, watch TV/steal a cop car.
