Sometimes when you go to a restaurant, the chef would give you something extra. You know, a little bit more taugeh or an extra fried egg to go with your mee goreng.
But for this one man, he got something extra disgusting instead.
A 25-year-old man was horrified to find a rotten tooth in his plate of mee goreng he ordered at a restaurant in Chemor, Perak.
According to a report by Sinar Harian, which was translated by The Star Online, the man identified as M. Agilan had reportedly gone to the eatery two weeks ago to have lunch.
While he was enjoying his plate of mee goreng, he reportedly bit on something hard which he initially thought was a stone.
“When I spit it out, I was shocked to see a rotten tooth. I felt nauseous, disgusted and lost my appetite,” Agilan was quoted by the daily as saying.
The man immediately complained to the restaurant manager, who reportedly agreed to pay for Agilan’s medical costs should he fall sick.
However, when Agilan developed a stomach ache a few days later and called the manager to claim for his medical bill, the restaurant reportedly refused to take responsibility.
Instead, the restaurant manager lodged a police report against Agilan.
Agilan subsequently lodged a police report of his own, urging the Health Ministry to inspect the restaurant’s cleanliness.
