One social media user has written to Facebook group We Are Malaysians to ask for assistance regarding an accident that occurred in the Bukit Beruntung neighborhood of Kuala Lumpur, in the afternoon of October 27.
The clip is upsetting, and while it was shared by someone close to the victim for the purposes of potentially identifying the suspect, we advise caution when watching:
Stating that the injured man’s name is Yap Chee Loong, the unnamed user writing to the group also attached a video showing the victim and three others chatting in what appears to be an outdoor parking lot. Suddenly a motorbike appears on screen, zips past the group, and knocks Yap to the floor.
Writing that the victim’s wife was with him at the time of the accident, he was then taken to hospital, where he is currently unconscious in the intensive care unit.

The post then make serious allegations: Despite the fact that a police report was made, the writer claims that the police are not investigating the matter properly, no suspects have been found, and that this has left them disheartened, asking “where is the justice” in the matter.

Finishing their post asking that social media users share the clip, and they add that hopefully someone will come forward to offer closure in the case.
We’ve reached out to the Facebook group asking to speak to the writer. We’ll keep you posted.
