It wasn’t a normal Monday morning for residents of a small neighbourhood in Prai, Butterworth as three Myanmar nationals were found hacked to death.
According to a report by The New Straits Times‘ Balvin Kaur, the three victims were murdered at Lorong Nagasari in the 6.30am incident.
Another Myanmar national, meanwhile, reportedly managed to escape the attack but sustained serious injuries.
State Criminal Investigation Department chief Datuk Razarudin Husain told the daily that two of the three murder victims, as well as the injured person, were occupants of a terrace house at Lorong Nagasari.
“The four were believed to have been slashed by a group of men during a fight at about 6.30am,” Razarudin was quoted as saying.
He added that the victims were aged 26 to 30 years old.
