Officer workers in Petaling Jaya’s Menara PKNS were alarmed when the building experienced a series of minor vibrations this morning, prompting everyone inside to evacuate the building.
The vibrations, most keenly felt on the 11th floor of the building, were believed to have been caused by construction work nearby.
A spokesperson for the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department told Harian Metro that the department received a distress call on the incident at 9.06am, to which a team of rescue officers were dispatch in response.
A fire engine from the Section 7 PJ Fire and Rescue station was also tasked with invetigating the incident.
