Aiyo, kantoi (busted!) for one unlucky prostitute, who unfortunately solicited the wrong man early Monday morning.

Turns out the guy walking down Jalan Berangan in Bukit Bintang at 4:50am was a police officer, and he was less than enticed by the “Hai ‘bang, jom hotel, RM100” offer (Hey, let’s go to a hotel, RM100).

In fact, the Malay Mail reports he arrested the 25-year-old man Ismaley Bihaki, who identifies as a woman, on the spot. The incident occurred in front of Vietnam Restaurant.

To be fair, seems like an honest mistake. It’s not every day you find yourself in that part of town, at that time, and you’re not looking for something. Alas, police corporal Ahmad Fuad wasn’t. Ahem.

In this day and age, “Hai ‘bang, jom hotel, RM100” will get you prosecuted under Section 371 of the Penal Code for solicitation, and can carry a 1-year prison sentence, plus fine. Pleading guilty as charged, Ismaley was fined RM1,800 (US$420), and will serve no jail time.

Be careful out there. Not every ‘bang is looking to bang, you feel?
