A man found a dead cockroach in his lunch at a restaurant in Selayang on Tuesday … and instead of having the restaurant owner apologise to him, he was told to get out.
Makkal Osai Daily reports that the hapless customer, G Ganeson, complained to the owner when he found the offending ingredient in his food.
After Ganeson did so, the owner not only refused to take action over the matter, he also ordered his customer and his dining party to leave the premises immediately.
Ganeson had no recourse but to lodge a police report on the restaurant’s lack of hygiene at the Gombak police station.
