We’re not sure how much control a person’s job should have over their personal lives, but apparently that’s not up for debate as far as the Sabah State Education Department (JPNS) is concerned: it’s conducting an investigation on a schoolteacher alleged to have set up and maintained a WhatsApp group peddling in pornography.
Now who wants extra credit?!
JPNS director Jame Alip said his department will not compromise in taking stern action against the teacher should they be found guilty of the “immoral act”.
“We have identified the teacher involved, but investigations on the matter have not yet concluded,” Alip told Bernama.
“An educator should not be engaging in immoral and unethical behaviour.”
Not sure about you, but we’d sure like an invite into that WhatsApp group.
For, uh, purely journalistic purposes, of course.
