As many of our readers know, Malaysians are gearing up for a very special event this year that will see passions, tempers, flags and fears flare across the country.
No, not the finale of Asia’s Got Talent (but we’re sure that’s happening too #TeamSacredRiana) – it’s the 14th General Election.
It’s not just the rhetoric that makes its way into our collective conscience, but also the decorations, and by that we mean the tens of thousands of flags that go up around the country, lining streets, front yards and apartment buildings in support of the different political parties at play.
Eagle-eyed Twitter user @MeowPhone was quick to bring to the internet’s attention one small detail though: It seems that the ruling coalition of Prime Minister Najib Razak’s Barisan Nasional forgot to give whoever was putting these babies up a pic of what they were supposed to look like.
