The naked body of a man was found in an apartment in Sri Hartamas on Monday, a victim of what the police believed to be a case of rough sex gone wrong.
Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Sharul Othman Mansor told The Star Online that they received a call from a security guard after the landlord of the unit and his three friends found the body.
According to Sharul, the landlord went to the apartment to check on the 47-year-old tenant after the man’s father contacted him, saying that he failed to get in touch with his son since Sunday.
When no one answered, the landlord hired a locksmith to open the door and when they entered the unit, they found the man lying motionless on the floor.
“The feet were bound with cloth, he was gagged and his privates were covered with another piece of cloth,” Sharul told The Star.
The police believed the man might have died from complications during rough sex, added Sharul, but declined to give details as the investigation is under way.
The police have classified the case as murder.
