According to media outlets, Rosmah Mansor, the wife of former Prime Minister Najib Razak, may soon be facing the music on up to 20 criminal charges.
Probes in her role in money laundering began two years ago, and the cases were recently re-opened. Now, investigators speaking to New Straits Times have revealed that they are “tying up loose ends,” and should would now formally answer to the charges.
Following the defeat of the Barisan Nasional government, authorities re-opened the “Rosmah file,” and have spent the last three months looking into allegedly suspicious fund sources that connected back to her husband.
Sources speaking to NST reveal that the 66-year-old that several charges could be thrown her way, including one that saw her pay over RM1 millions (US$250,000) for anti-aging products from the United States.
Believed to be an oral dietary supplement, it could enhance growth hormone levels by 600%, if consumed regularly.
Product effects are believed to be boosted energy, better sleep, increased sex drive, less body fat, more muscle mass, and better skin condition.

Authorities were able to trace the check payment back to a “Datuk” doctor using an allegedly linked bank account.
During questioning, the doctor revealed that the check was to cover two sets of medication.
Another substance was also found on the list, purported to carry anti-aging and youth-giving properties.
Media reports allege that the unnamed doctor has now resigned from a leadership post in a medical society to minimize embarrassment and damage to his field.
In June of this year, Rosmah was taken to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters for questioning, and returned home after approximately three hours inside. No official statement was given as to why she was speaking with MACC, but most believed it to be in connection the former 1MDB subsidiary, SRC International.
Her husband, Najib Razak, has since been charged with three counts of criminal breach of trust, and one charge of graft. Pleading not guilty, he now awaits trial, although authorities have not rules out slapping his with further charges.
