Heads up! Several road closures will be happening in the city this Sunday to make way for Stage 8 of the Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL) 2015.
Riders will begin the journey to Dataran Merdeka from Kuala Kubu Baru at 2pm via Rawang.
Bernama reports that the following roads will be closed from 2pm: Jalan Kuching (Pasar Borong Selayang), Bulatan Kepong, Jalan Ipoh, Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah, Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Jalan Sultan Ismail, Jalan Raja, Jalan Lebuh Pasar, Leboh Ampang, Jalan Tun Perak, Jalan Raja Chulan, Jalan P.Ramlee and Jalan Ampang.
Kuala Lumpur Traffic chief Mohd Nadzri Hussain was quoted as saying that motorists may also see traffic diversions at these locations.
Several alternative roads are as follows:
From Kajang: Jalan Loke Yew, Jalan Hang Tuah, Jalan Kinabalu and Jalan Kuching;
From Seremban Highway: Jalan Maharajalela, Jalan Tun Razak, Bulatan Kampung Pandan and Bulatan Pahang;
From Setapak: Bulatan Pahang;
From Kepong: Jalan Kuching and Jalan Tun Razak
