If you own a Proton Inpira or an Exora CPS, you should send your car to the workshop pronto.
The local carmaker has issued a recall for its Inspira sedan and Exora CPS 1.6 MPV in a move to fix existing and potential flaws.
Back in February, Mitsubishi Motors Japan issued a global recall of selected car models for defective right-turn indicator switches. As the Inspira is a rebadged Mitsubishi Lancer, there’s a high possibility that vehicles manufactured from year 2010 to 2014 will be affected.
According to Proton, more than 20,330 units of Inspira were affected by the recall.
As for the Proton Exora, Proton will recall around 90,000 units of the 1.6 MPV manufactured from 2009 to 2015 to check the powertrain fuel line.
Proton has added that they will bear the cost of labour and parts relating to rectification work.
